At the risk of making this blog political...

We don't want Huck!
We don't want Huck!
We don't want Huck!

I hope Fred Thompson sticks with it... 3rd place doesn't necessarily mean there is no hope.

Oh heavens.

I have been pondering writing a column on how Huckabee is the new Carter. An inept liberal propelled to power to large extent because of "Christian appeal".

As I have previously joked, he is setting records though. As far as I know this marks the first time the Iowa Republican caucus has been won...by a democrat!

For the sake of the nation I hope it does...at least in the case of the Democratic side!

Hopefully this is enough of a poke in the eye to the Hil campaign to slow down the momentum propelling us towards six straight terms of Bush/Clinton/Bush/Clinton. Americans hate dynastic succession. For the most part (I'm looking at you Ted Kennedy).

Fortunately I was already prepared for this inevitability. I will likely be going with the Constitution Party. If Ron Paul goes Libertarian I may go for them. To support the Dems would be a vote for pure evil. To support the Republicans would be to embrace being lied to.

Agreed Mike. Not a big Huckabee fan. I will NEVER vote for an independent. I made that mistake in 1992 by voting for Perot.
