"One Louder" would be a great name for a rock band. This band goes to eleven!

The skeleton shirt is priceless.

fellas, you think we can schedule a night to enjoy such a fine film together? I know an angry coder who has a nice little tv to watch it on. We'll bring the beer and ice cream, yeah?

Certainly, I've got no lack of fermented malt water!

Most certainly... beer and ice cream. Ok maybe just beer. I was forced to drink diet-rite while watching the angry coder drink sam adams during the Daytona 500 but starting Monday I get an extra 5 grams of carbs per day and 5 more each week after that. I see a smokey orange-brown glass bottle on my horizon.

Sorry Mike, I forgot about the atkins gig. I mean, we'll bring michelob ultra.

Boulevard Beers
Brand Carbohydrate (grams)
Pale Ale 13.8
Unfiltered Wheat Beer 13.6
Dry Stout 11.4
Bully! Porter 20.1
Irish Ale 17.6
ZON 14.3
Bob's '47 16.7
Nutcracker Ale 17.9

I got this from them a few years ago... looks like the Dry Stout is my best bet until I get a bit more freedom.

Hahaha, some of my brews would be off that chart. Somewhere between beer and the aforementioned ice cream in consistency. I have a honey mead fortified with scotch malt whisky that is sweet and strong like a port wine; that'll definitely induce carb-shock.

Nic, are you game for working on a coffee stout? I talked to a young fella today who is going to give me a bottle of a stout he made.

I must know... "Berries!?!"

Coffee stout sounds good...in fact, I just racked my first experiment thereof to secondary fermentation. However, I think I erred in making it a "dry" style stout. The coffee combined with the acrid bitterness of the roasted barley to create a sensation of spiciness that was very reminiscent of my chipotle IPA, another weird and generally undrinkable experiment of mine. However, a sweet "cream stout" with oats and lactose might be a better choice for adding coffee. We'll see how this batch turns out!
